Font - r/mildlyinfuriating u/dukerdoo 2d. i.redd.it Literally watched my uber drive by without stopping To compensate drivers for the inconvenience, a fee is charged if the driver has to cancel after waiting for more than 0 minutes at your requested pickup location. To avoid this fee in the future, only request when you're ready to go.

My driver shows up, I see the guy's eyes go wide when he sees the cops, and he immediately hits a U-turn & speeds off right before the ride gets cancelled. I got into a chat and told the support person that I shouldn't have to pay a guy who is clearly running from a f kin' warrant, so they comped me.

Font - kacheda44 • 2d I had an Uber driver try to cancel my ride while I was in his car on the highway. He said he didn't feel like taking me the rest of the way because traffic was bad.

Font - BrooklynKnight - 2d Screen shot the picture of the driver information. This happens to me a lot because I'm disabled with a cane, and sometimes have a cart of groceries. They either discriminate because my partner is black, or because I'm disabled, or because they don't want to load groceries (pick a reason). I'm a 4.8 starred rider with Lyft and this sh t still happens often. So, screen shot the screen of the driver name and car plate, and if you see them drive by and cancel the fare, re

Font - East-Struggle-4639 • 2d During covid I called an Uber and the driver went way in the opposite direction and then it was cancelled. the reason given was because the driver said I wasn't wearing a mask - I was 1000% wearing one and he was never anywhere near the pickup point. I got charged a fee and Uber required me to use my face cam to verify I was wearing a mask to call an Uber for the next like month :/

Font - Pair OfMonocles2 • 2d I had this happen once. I saw the driver across the road, which was a 6 lane road with a concrete wall in the middle, from my hotel and just sit there. You had to drive like 2 blocks or so to turn around, but he sat there, we got some automated message, and then immediately got this one and they left. I know he was well aware of the massive convention center hotel on the other side of the road and must have just not wanted to go turn around to get there.
